What Is Icon?
ICON is a non-invasive treatment for improving the appearance of teeth, by removing a mottled appearance (white spots etc). It removes the marks or blemishes by changing their colour, without covering the whole of the tooth's natural surface. The best thing about this treatment is no drilling or injections are required!
What Is The ICON Treatment Process?
We first apply the ICON gel to the tooth being treated. This opens up the pores which allows for the resin to penetrate the tooth. We rinse off the gel and dry the tooth before applying the ICON infiltrant resin. This is light cured, which will also help preserve the tooth from additional tooth decay.
The final step is to remove the resin, for an instant result that greatly enhances the overall aesthetics of the tooth!

What Causes White Marks?
