GDC Number: 187737
I qualified from the University of Portsmouth in 2010 with a Bsc (hons) Dental Hygiene and Therapy, then completed my vocational training in 2011.
I previously had 11 years experience at a gum disease specialist for the non surgical management around both dental implants and teeth.
I enjoy all aspects of restorative dentistry in both children and adults and have completed further training in sedation and tooth whitening.
I am currently focusing on minimally invasive dentistry and enjoy composite bonding to improve the cosmetics of front teeth. I have also completed the Smile Fast course where teeth can be restored with minimal preparation and have experience using icon which can help mask white spots on teeth caused by fluorosis which is common in the West Midlands.
I have a huge emphasis on prevention over cure! I generally try to start from the ground up by focusing on the gums which are the foundations of our teeth before improving and restoring the teeth.
Outside of dentistry I enjoy taking my Dalmatian for long walks and can often be found alongside a lake fishing.
